Call To Submit: 2022 Dunrovin Ranch Equine Art Extravaganza
The Dunrovin Ranch Equine Art Extravaganza is an extraordinary art contest using live horses as art canvases. Our theme for 2022 is “The Trail Ahead”. The Equine Art Extravaganza will be hosted at Dunrovin Ranch in Lolo, MT and broadcast online via Dunrovin’s network of web cameras.

Event date ~ August 20, 2022 ~ painting time is 11am – 5pm
Deadline to submit designs ~ June 15, 2022
Submission requirements ~ submit your conceptual design sketch(s) with an accompanying list of materials (for approval), artist bio, artist photo, and artist statement to DunrovinEAE@gmail.com by May 31, 2022
Notification date ~ selected artists (maximum of 6) will be notified by June 17, 2022
Awards ~ each participating artist receives a $300 stipend for their participation and materials. Additionally, online public viewers will vote for their favorite horse/artist combination by making a $5 donation to the Friends of Dunrovin for each vote cast. The 1st place artist will receive 10% and the 2nd place artist 5% of the net (donations minus credit card processing fees) revenues received in the voting process.
Sponsor ~ the event is sponsored by the Friends of Dunrovin which is a 501 c3 nonprofit organization whose charitable mission is to promote human, animal, environmental, and community health. This years’ beneficiary will be Youth Homes of Missoula.
