Artist Statement

I make jewelry by hand, using traditional silversmithing techniques and natural gemstones. Most pieces are one of a kind. Gold or copper accents may be used to add contrast or to set off a particular stone. My work is designed to be comfortable and flow with your body's movements.

I’ve always enjoyed the design process, from making my first pair of earrings in a high school art class, through my career as an educator designing curriculum, and now returning to jewelry making. Wearing jewelry for personal adornment is an individual aesthetic, and I hope that some of my pieces resonate with you and your style.
